Since 2016, Community Day has welcomed between 1,000 and 1,300 residents each year, connecting families to critical resources, health services, educational opportunities, workforce development support, and community support systems. Through generous partnerships, the event has distributed hundreds of bicycles and backpacks to Detroit youth. In 2026, Urban Initiatives is expanding its impact by providing iPads to help bridge the digital divide and support student success.
